Since 1992, Jim has been conducting virtual and in-person: presentation skills coaching and training, media training, crisis communication and message development for a wide spectrum of clients. He has trained senior management teams on financial communication for quarterly Earnings Calls, Global Sales Conferences, Town Halls, IPO's and Private Placement Funding pitches and is used as a vital resource for on-site observations and feedback regarding employee engagement and communication skills. Clients he has had the privilege of work with include: Terex Corporation, Lincoln Financial, Hines Corporation, Global Atlantic, Chubb, Citrix, JPMorgan Chase, P.J. Solomon, Franklin Square Investments, VOYA,NBA Players Association, Serengeti Asset Management, McNeil Pharmaceuticals, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, NY Municipal Credit Union, Tiffany & Company, Shearman & Sterling, AIMCOR, Tadano Cranes, Bank of New York, Medtronic, SAP, Diversified Brokerage, Comcast, Prudential Insurance and many others.

Jim is the former Associate Director of the St. John's University Speech and Debate Team. During his seventeen-year tenure, the team achieved the formidable rank of sixth in the nation and has won more New York State Championships than any other school in the state. While he coached a variety of public speaking events, Jim's expertise is in the limited prep categories of Impromptu and Extemporaneous speaking. This event trains individuals to think quickly and present their material in an organized and memorial fashion.

 

Through the years, Jim has demonstrated the ability to interact and constructively critique personnel from all levels of an organization. His work with senior management has involved preparation for media interviews, board meetings, roadshows, investor relation meetings as well as internal leadership conferences. For each event, Jim is viewed as a valuable resource to review message content, supporting visual aids and deliver style.

Jim has also been very successful in working with new analysts and associates fresh off the college campus as they acclimate themselves to their new environment. Whether it is for general professional development or in preparation for a specific individual or team event, Jim brings an innovative and critical eye to the process.

 

In the past, Jim has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at both St. John's University - College of Professional Studies and Dowling College Executive Education Programs. He has served as a back-up stadium announcer and game-day spotter for the New York Football Giants and for the St. John's University women's basketball and men's baseball teams. Prior to working at St. John's University, Jim was employed by Chase Manhattan Bank in Corporate Human Resources.

He holds an MBA with a prime concentration in management.  Jim lives in Southold, NY with his wife who are proud parents of four successful children.
